Amy Reports from CMC:
Grier had a visit from Mrs. Leary today, his preschool teacher at First Presbyterian Weekday School. She brought a picture of his classmates and he was able to point them out as he looked at the picture. He was also able to watch some movies and he listened to his Razzmatazz CD. All in all it was a good day.
Susan Natale (Laurie Reid's sister) also was a special visitor today. She works at CMC and had taken care of Grier in recovery on Friday. Today was her day off, but she came in to offer her support and expertise. She has also volunteered to come in tomorrow after our next procedure. Thanks, dear Susan.
Grier will have a line put in for treatment and one more test tomorrow (April 1st) at 10:00 am. Hopefully, treatment will begin the first of the week.
Amy writes, "We are trying to get on a sleeping schedule, so please no visitors after 8:00 pm. Jeff and I are so very grateful for ALL that people are doing. It is overwhelming."
You are invited to join a group that will be gathering at Covenant tomorrow morning around 9:40 (during Sunday school) to pray for Grier and the Christenbury family. They will gather on the second floor of the education wing.
GO GRIER GO
Bracelets have been ordered with the slogan GO GRIER GO. We will let you know when they are available and where to obtain them. This will be a great way to cheer Grier on and to serve as a constant reminder to pray for him. Thanks to the friends that were so creative and worked hard to pull this off so quickly.
Grace & Peace,
