We are done!

Today went much better-- we did not arrive until 11:30 and we were home by 3:00-- They said we did not have to come back tomorrow-- so we have a day off from CMC! Grier's counts are still low--.2 so we are home staying away from crowds-
Hopefully we will have good news to share next week--
This will be a busy weekend preparing for the first day of school--lots of papers to fill out--:)

So very glad today went better -- you and Grier deserve a quicker visit today! Missed Hayes and Grace today at Open House but know they were there since you have all your paperwork!! Happy to hear of Hayes' room assignment change -- he (and you) will be happy there!
Enjoy the last few days before school starts -- then it will be back to just you and Grier!

Love to all of you,
Betty G

Amy,

I am so glad to know that today was a much better day for you AND Grier than the last two! I'm looking forward to good news next week and will wait on pins & needles until then. We'll continue to pray for a positive outcome and outlook going forward.

I am anxious for Grier's immune system to get back to acceptable levels as Mitch is so ready to play with his friend. He does not understand why he can't see Grier right now. With Abby & Adam back in school, he is climbing the walls and wanting to play with all of his friends. Playdates are his thing now...I guess since he sees A&A do it all of the time. Today he went very willingly with a friend of mine in her car to her house to play...her child was not even in the car when they left our house. Poor kid! Let me know when we can play together!

Thinking of you with love & prayers...

Amy -
Millie and I have been talking about going back to school and seeing her friends again. She was naming everyone and then suddenly stopped and said, 'but we see Grier on the computer now! I can see him all the time! I don't have to wait for Ms Leary's school!' and immediately demanded to see the pictures.

Thinking about her friend made her very happy & I'm so glad that you have all come through the chemo.

We will continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

When his counts are higher and the fall routine more regular (ha ha) please let me know if we can visit.
