Today we went to our Charlotte Clinic!! Grier did amazingly well with accessing his port--- he screamed for a brief second and our Nurse (Jennifer) was so fast it was over before he knew it-! His counts looked good and Dr. McMahon ( or as Grier says.. 'what man?) seemed to think he looked good too-- He has 3 more days of accutane so some of his skin issues should clear up soon- After the appointment we went to Kinko's to Fedex his blood for the HAMA test--- It will be in NYC tomorrow morning-- And hopefully it will be HAMA negative! We will know by Tuesday night-
We have not been at preschool this week but if all goes well he will go tomorrow--- ! He has had a little cold for the past few days and they have had a virus in the school so we are being careful- I am trying to not be so careful that I kept him in a bubble---
That is it for now--- prayers are needed for all the families dealing with cancer-- and there are lots!

It's hard to decide which Steel Fab player is more handsome -- Hayes or Grier!! A tie I guess!! Glad Clinic went well today -- nice to be in Charlotte, I'm sure!
Hope Grier is enjoying these wonderful spring days outside swinging his bat. I laughed to see him swinging last night on Jeff's lap!
Hope preschool goes well tomorrow -- don't push too hard if he resists. He'e entitled to a slow reentry into the world!
We continue to pray for Grier, your family, and other children with NB.

In deed there are far too many families going through the very same thing that Grier and your family have endured these last many, many months. Prayers all around!!!!
So glad Grier did well today...he's still setting a high bar for so many...GO GRIER GO! Hope all goes well tomorrow and you're able to head to school for a bit. Looking to hear about the HAMA test on Tuesday...negative, negative.
Think of you often and look forward to slower summer days for you and your family!
Lots of love...

Amy,
It was so nice to meet you yesterday at the mall. Grier looks great and is so cute! We will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Amy - so wonderful to see you twice this week! Grier looks so good - I love that sweet smile of his :)
Good news from the clinic visit - hoping that he is HAMA negative.
You are never far from our minds, our hearts, or our prayers. Love you!

My prayers are with all families dealing with this disease. I am so happy Grier came to school today and was the line leader. He did a great job. It is really nice to see you and get to say a few words to you.
Frannie Deschenes came by my house tonight. She was the goalie on the team way back when. We talked about Grier and she will keep those prayers coming.
Know we are here if you need anything.
Lots of Love,
Mary Ellen
