Well-- Here is the real story--- Sloan called this morning--@ 8:20am and said he was HAMA negative and we need to be in NY in a few weeks-- It just so happened it was the week of our vacation-- so I told them it would not work that week-- I already had scans planned around it and told them we would not be in NY during that week -- Well-- after being told the schedule was set-- I just had to wait and see--I waited almost all day and got the call that said it will happen next week- We will leave on his birthday to head to the Ronald and he will have 3F8 treatments all next week-- I will begin giving him shots today!
It all worked out -- I guess-- We will miss a ton next week because of all the year end activities-- & Hayes turns 11 on the 12th-- !
Now-- I need to figure out how to get to NYC! I am sure I will update before we leave or on Sunday when we arrive ---

Amy,
Glad to know things are rolling in your favor! I sure hope you're able to make everything fall into place...you're getting real good at that. Sorry you're going to miss year-end festivities, Hayes' birthday, etc. However, I hope your vacation plans will remain intact. Thinking of you all tons!
Be well...love,
Dina
Good news about HAMA negative and your patience! Both won out in the end and you got what you want and need for your family's sake.
I think the 4th grade has celebrated enough this week -- there won't be anything left for next week so you shouldn't miss much!!! Traveling on Grier's b'day will be fine and I know that Hayes (being 11 years old) will be willing to put his birthday on hold until you get back -- he's such a great kid, and flexible too, I bet!
All in all, things sound good and I know you are ready to hit the streets of NYC again! Know that my prayers and love go with you on Sunday and I'll be looking for updates as often as you can write them!
Love and prayers on this hot night,
Betty G
So sorry things will be so hectic. I think that is funny that Hayes turns 11 on the 12th and Elizabeth turns 22. I remember waiting to hear about Hayes's birth.
Hope all works out the way you need it too. I will say lots of prayers tonight.
Love to you,
Mary Ellen
