NED-- ( No Evidence of Disease)!
All of Grier's test came back and there is no sign of NB-- we are very thankful but still very cautious -- I hate to be that way but we have seen how sneaky NB can be---
We will continue to go to NYC every 3 months for a full work-up for the next several years-- It is bittersweet that he is off 3F8 at the moment--he will no longer have to endure those painful treatments due to the fact he is HAMA positive. He will finish accutane on July 27th and after all that we just wait and see what happens-- So.. for the next 90 days he will hopefully be as normal as any other 4 year old-- enjoying the rest of summer, starting school in the Fall and loving just being 4!
Thanks for all the prayers --

Hooray ! We're all so happy about the "N E D" !
Amy, you express yourself so well - I understand that shifting now back to "normal" is a transition to be made. And I guess if "normal" has a time frame of 90 days it's not the real normal yet.
But here's to lots of happy days here in Charlotte for your entire fabulous family.
The Todds
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful news!! So happy Grier can be a 4-year-old kid going to preschool again! August will be a better school beginning this year than last to say the least!! Thinking about what your family has gone through during the past year is very sobering, but the important thing is that it is behind you, you all came through with flying colors, and you are blessed with good news now!!
Happy rest of the summer to you! Hope you got some time alone this week!
Continuing to send love and prayers every day,
Betty G
What's awesome news, Amy! I like NED!!! Hopeful you'll be able to enjoy the following 90 days...Grier being as normal as possible...don't think that will be a stretch...that's all he wants to be anyway, I'm sure.
Would love to get together sometime soon. Mitch is heading to Uptown Fun next week...however, we're available in the afternoons to swim if you're interested. Email me.
Love to all...
Dina
Wow! That is absolutely fantastic news, Amy, and has just made our day!
The Harrisses
Oh joy! Anne told me that Cody got up one morning this week and said he wanted to get to VBS to see Grier. "Grier?" I asked. "Yes!" I couldn't believe it. Let us hope and pray that NED keeps on appearing! NED is good.
You are amazing.
Nora H. Kuester (Cody's granny)
That is fantastic news! I had such a great time getting to know Grier and Grace at VBS this week. They are both so sweet and Grier sure does love his big sister! At one point, I asked Grier if Grace is his big sister and he said, "Yes, and I have a Hayes too!" I hope you enjoy your summer!
What wonderful news that is. I hope and pray that you can all have a little normalicy in your lives. Although this is so wonderful please be assured that not a day will go by that we do not pray for all the Christenbury's.
I will look forward to hearing about Grace's soccer and all the buzz in the household.
Please know I am here for you.
Lots of love to all of you,
Mary Ellen
What great news. Although I have never met your family I feel as though I know you. I hope you will continue to update the website periodically to let us know how you and your family are doing. I would love to hear about the kids going back to school and starting up with fall activities - I am sure it will be so exciting for all of you to enjoy these things together this year. As always you will remain in my prayers.
Patti
Thank God!! I have always, and will always, have faith.
