We will go to the clinic tomorrow and Grier will have blood work done- After the results are back we will walk to the 7th Floor and begin the 6th round of chemo-- It is the last one in the protocol he has been on- The chemo will last 72 hours and then hopefully all will be good and we will go home on Monday--
MSKCC- has what they need and are reviewing Grier's case-
Grier is eating well without the TPN, so I hope this continues as he feels the side effects of the chemo-- He does not even realize he has not been on TPN-- This morning he woke up and I heard.. "Mom..Mom... I just heard the pump beep, so can I get up?"--- I had to show him he was not connected to anything!
Thanks to all that have supported me in the Hopebuilders 5K-- The last time I looked our team was a little over 9K!! October 13th will be here before we know it!

I am so glad to hear that things are moving in the right direction as far as SK is concerned. I do hope and pray that all goes well tomorrow and with the 6th round this weekend! As always, please let us know if you need anything. We'll be praying that Grier's counts remain stable and that he does not come down with a fever as soon as you get home early next week. Let's all pray that everything will be lined up as soon as he's done and you'll be ready to move on to the next venue...NYC here you come!

Amy & Jeff, I know you will find a way to have a special birthday for Grace- even if it is at CMC! All that matters is that you can spend the day as a family- it doesn't matter where you are!
We are praying for Grier on this 6th round, that he will just sail through it. So glad he is able to come off the TPN- I am sure he was excited when he did realize he was not hooked up to anything! I bet he will sleep better tonight with no tangles! Praying that you will get some answers soon from SK, and you will be headed up to NYC asap! They better just go ahead and accept you- or you might just show up on their doorstep anyway :)! Mommy of the year is here- watch out!! Thinking of you all all the time- esp tomorrow at the start of round 6, and on Grace's Birthday.

Good News on NYC -- I know they will say "Bring him on!" when they read about his case! If they could only meet him, they would put him ahead of everyone else!! Good luck on Round 6 -- he's a pro at this now so hope all will go very smoothly.
