Home Sweet... Jameston!

We had a great flight last night-- we ended up leaving Newark 30 minutes early!!! We arrived in Charlotte at 10:00-- Hayes, Grace and Maggie were waiting for us in the hanger! Grier was so excited he ran to them but stopped quickly because the automatic door did not open!!

During our stay at the Ronald ... Grier would "drool" over this playmobil toy behind the glass display--- He kept telling me he wanted that toy-- I told him we would see if Susanne's toy store (Black Forest) had it when we got back to Charlotte--- It was an ambulance(equipped with all the medical supplies!!) Yesterday-- he would not stop taking me downstairs and showing me this ambulance... so after a phone call to our "Charlotte family"-- they found the ambulance! Grier was so excited!! He has not stopped playing with it-- Due to the excitement of being at home and the new gift... is was a late night at our house!!

We start accutane tomorrow!! I hope the side effects are minimal... we will go to the clinic on Thursday to have the port accessed for the first time-- Hopefully the numbing creme will control the discomfort--

Thanks again for EVERYTHING-- meals.. rides for Hayes and Grace.. cards.. gifts.. EVERYTHING!

WELCOME HOME!

So glad you are safely and happily home!! Can't think of a better coming-home gift than a Playmobile ambulance -- glad someone was able to find it here for him! I know G,H&M were happy to see you and have you home. A wonderful homecoming deserves a late night at the Christenburys!

Enjoy the warmth of home, the love of Charlotte, and your own beds! I trust the accutane will be no problem for him -- a pill certainly seems like nothing compared to what he's endured!

Love and prayers from just up the greenway,

Betty G

What a cool toy? Grier will get tons of "mileage" out of this one!

Glad you're all home safely...and a 1/2 hour early...hooray! Enjoy your home, children and peace on this Sunday!

Thinking of you all with love,
Dina

Hurrah! Another "session" behind you! We're SO glad to know you're back home. Here's to being back with your Family, Friends, and Faith Community! We'll pray for a good week and little, if any, reaction to the accutane!
Much love,
Martha M.

Welcome Home!! So glad to have y'all back in Charlotte and another round of 3F8 behind you. Dorothy was right - there's no place like home! Maybe you could trade in your clogs for some ruby red slippers :)

Holler if you need anything - we are around and have little on the agenda this week. Leila and I are great at running errands.

Love you all.

It is so wonderful that you are home safe and sound. A Play Mobile ambulance seems like a small thing to make a guy happy. Glad you found it.
If will feel wonderful to be sleeping in your own beds
Grier has been through so much I hope that they next few days are calm, peaceful and reasonable comfortable for him .... and you.

Love to each of you.

I have just returned from Reynosa, Mexico on a mission trip. I feel so out of touch with all that you have been through. However, there has not been a day that all of you have not been in my thoughts and prayers. I talked a lot about Grier on the trip and even showed and explained my bracelet to my new Mexican friends. Jim Morton and I took a speical trip to an elementary school to take a picture for Grier. As soon as I get copies I will bring them to you. I have missed you!

Love, Ms. Pat
