Friday the 13th!!
Today was one of "those" days!!! Grace left for VBS and I started calling the insurance company!!! Fun! Fun! I was getting ready to run a quick errand with Grier and Hayes and then the plans changed-- I changed Grier's diaper and saw a tiny bit of blood-- so I called the clinic and we went to cmc! I thought this was going to be a quick trip-- but to our dismay we were there from 11:20-3:40!! Another day spent at the clinic-- Grier did not have a UTI but he ended up needing platelets.. His counts are 100-- very low so it was good to check to see if he had an infection. We are home now and will continue to give him the medicine to increase his WBC. We are looking forward to the weekend and hope that it is uneventful!

Sorry you ended up back at CMC today but good that Grier got checked for infection and there was none! I enjoyed our visit yesterday and seeing the wild man in action -- you need a necklace for each little thing that you do during the day (and night!) to keep up with Grier! Hope Hayes' team won last night and will keep on playing.
Love and prayers as always,
Betty G
Oh, Grier - 3 visits to CMC in one week? - Yuck! Good thing your big sister and the rest of blue group kept bringing home GOLD this week...and how exciting that Grace's peers chose her to carry the torch at the closing ceremonies of VBS today! What an honor! We loved having Grace over to play yesterday and I loved seeing you in the stroller when we brought her home. All of the Falls continue to pray for your complete healing and we think of you and your family every day! We are glad you made it to the beach for the whole week, but your mom told me about those silly family pictures she tried to pull off! Next time, tell her you'll just wear what you've got! Keep fighting hard, little buddy. We love you all!
