We got to CMC around 8:00am and waited awhile before they took Grier back for the CT scan and Lumbar puncture. Grier was playing baseball with a stuffed animal in the waiting room when a lady stopped and said "I have a hard time believing that boy is sick!" I just smiled -- but she is so right, it is hard to believe how well he is doing. If he had hair he would fool everyone :)
Grier was so good during his procedures. His went in talking to everyone and then the medicine aka "magic milk" was given through his port and he went to sleep- We left and waited until about 12:00 and then he went to recovery. He woke up talking and ate a Popsicle and then we went home-- We were home by 1:15 and could not have asked for an easier day!!
Now we have to wait to hear about the scans and the bone marrow-- that is the hardest part!! Even though Grier looks and acts well we know that his case is tough so we wait to hear what the next step will be for him. If all goes as planned he will have labs drawn on Monday at home and then we will start round 5 by the end of next week.
Thanks for all the emails, and calls today-- Grier is lucky to have so many people cheering him on!!! Go Grier Go!!

Thinking about you today Amy. Praying for good news. It's not hard to believe that Grier has such a happy attitude - he's his Mama's boy after all!

So glad Grier and you had a smooth and uneventful day at CMC -- that must be a record for getting in and out for you! I'm also very happy that Grier is feeling so well and able to play his favorite baseball game wherever he is!! My Go Grier Go bracelet was in Seattle last week and will be in PA at the farm this coming week, so know that I'm thinking of and praying for all of you every day!
Go Grier Go!
Love you all,
Betty G
Amy,
We will light another candle at church for Grier on Sunday just as we do every Sunday. So thankful you had the blessing of a smooth visit at CMC yesterday!!!! That boy is a trooper. He seems to really know the routine. Continued strength to you all. We are praying for a week of good news.

Amy,
So glad to know everything went better than expected Friday. I am optimistic that the results will be as great as Grier seems to be feeling...even better! You are all in our thoughts and prayers non-stop and we're anxious to hear good news.
Much Love and Many Prayers...

What great news. Glad that all went well. Missed you all at HH but shared wonderful stories between us all. We will continue to pray for good news from these last set of test.
Netha and all.
Your family continues to be in our thoughts and prayers at Providence. I often think of Grier and whisper a "Go, Grier, Go!" prayer for his wellness.
