Clinic went well this morning. His counts were good and he gained weight!! He is over 30lbs-- not by much but it sounds really good! He ate a lot while we were on vacation-- a lot of good cooks were in the house so he enjoyed lots of guacamole and scrambled eggs and belgium waffles-- we were hoping all that eating would help him gain weight and it did!
We will be admitted tomorrow around 10 and they will start fluids for a few hours before they begin the chemo. This round will be the same as the first two-- 72 hours of continious chemo and then hopefully home by Friday afternoon--
That is all the update I have for now-- I have to finish doing laundry and pack for CMC-- On a side note ..our dog is not feeling well so Jeff is at the vet with Tucker, Hayes may need an x-ray of his foot-- he fell off the balance beam at the park!!-- and I am nursing Hives that I got at the beach-- looks great!!! My face looks red but not the sun-kissed kind everyone hopes for after a week at the beach- OH well-- there is never a dull moment at our house :)

Sounds like Grace needs to take care of everyone else in the family...either that or move out! :)

Dear Amy-
I am so glad that you guys were able to enjoy a full and fun week at the beach. Usually it can be annoying when sand spills out of suitcases and shoes when unpacking at home, but I bet each grain of sand that made its way back to your house makes you smile- and it should.
I will be thinking of brave, precious Grier as things get under way tomorrow and sending you both and your family positive vibes. May the echoes of the waves in your mind and memories of beach laughs get you through these upcoming days.
Love, Alex
I couldn't stop thinking about you last week and was hoping all was well! We are all praying for all of you every night, especially Kailyn- she mentions Grier every night during her prayers. Know that I am thinking of you and giving you big prayer hugs!!

Happy Fourth! Who needs fireworks? You have more "going off" at your home the needed!!!! Hope Tucker is ok and Hayes foot is just a bruise. As for the hives you have, girlfriend, I may have to drop by to see that!! So happy to hear that the beach trip was wonderful. Grier is on my kind of diet!! I'll but some guacamole down with him anytime. Take care this week, we'll be praying for you all. The Stacks
Hi Amy,
It must have been so nice to have a change of scenery at the beach... and for Grier to be able to get so far away from CMC. Happy 4th to you all...maybe you can find a spot to watch the fireworks from in the tower? Hope to see you soon.
love Isabel
