Last night around 11:00-- the transfusion finished and they did his final temp-- and it was 100.5-- so they waited a little, consulted with the doctor took it again and it was 101.?-- SO, he and Jeff spent the night! Grier fell asleep around 10:30 on the futon-- He was trying really hard to stay awake until the "pump beeped"-- but the later it got the harder it was!
I am sure this will mean a "sleepover" for a few days! Just do not know how many! He is suppose to get 3x the dose of neupogen starting on Monday to jump start his counts-- so it may be that we leave LCH and head to NY-- Hopefully we will know more after Monday-
We have some luck-- may start to buying lottery tickets--- :)

Well I am sorry that the fever is up. Hopefully by Monday you will have some good answers.
Poor little Grier he was so tired he went right to sleep on the futon.
I feel some good luck coming your way.
Hope you can get some fun things in this weekend.
As always in our thoughts and prayers,

Lottery tickets all around! We're anxious to hear how things proceed. We'll be keeping our minds and hearts wrapped around you all as you approach the next adventure to NY.

Amy- When you mention in your blog about needing to always stay "flexible", I immediately think of that childhood toy from back in the early '80s-- it was this super stretchy rubber character named "Slim Goodbody"- do you remember him? You could pull his arms and legs sooooo far out and then when you released, they'd shrink back down to size. (If you popped him with a pin-- which you were NOT supposed to do-- you'd find it contained this nasty gel...and you'd also find that your toy didn't work anymore. :-) Anyway, that comes to mind as I think about you...always flexible, always doing what you have to in the moment to take care of your family, always bouncing back to original form. You are an amazing mother and woman Mrs. Goodbody! How I wish I had one of those dolls for you...mmmm Ebay?
Love, Alex
