Grier finished his second cycle of 3F8-- and we have finished all appts. at the clinic-- 13 straight weekdays of being at the PDH!!! The amazing thing is he went each day with a smile on his face and no complaining!!
We are letting him sleep off the narcotics-- I hope he wakes up like he did yesterday with minimal tummy issues-- we are going to start packing and cleaning so we can head back to Charlotte tomorrow--- We will be back late-- Our flight leaves Newark at 9:00pm!
The front desk stopped us again to let us know we had a ton of cards and packages-- I know they will be glad we are gone!! Thanks to a few special groups--- Olivia and her friends at Sharon Elementary...The Covenant Miracles... Steel Fab major league team...First Presbyterian Weekday School.. Covenant 4's.. And Jeff Gordon #24 and his team--
We are glad to have all these procedures behind us and are looking forward to a little time at home!

Amy,
I know you all will enjoy some "down" time when you get home. You've all been so good about the very difficult days and nights you've endured. Know that our hearts are with you as you head into the final day in NY and during your flight home. How fun it will be to see Hayes' and Grace's smiling faces!
Thinking of you now and always with love,
Dina
I know everyone at home will be happy to see you. I am glad you have all that behind you. I am sure Grier went with a smile on his face because he has two amazing role models.
Hope you have many restful nights at home along with well needed family time.
Just give a call if you need anything.
Always in our hearts,
The Paine's
Oh, Happy Friday!! Procedures complete, flight arranged for coming HOME, and always a smile from the little guy! And what a smile that is -- truly beautiful! Hope his appetite will improve in the next days/weeks and he'll be eating McAllister's turkey sandwiches in addition to Cars fruity snacks.
Charlotte is waiting for your return with some warmer weather and baseball in the front yard! As I've said before, the valentines and packages are only a token of the love that surrounds your family. You guys deserve everything you've gotten and much more for your strength, courage, stamina, and love! You continue to be an inspiration to all of us bloggers and lurkers (I love that term!).
Sleep well tonight knowing that you'll be back in your own bed tomorrow night! Safe travel tomorrow!
Love and prayers always,
Betty G
"Done" is an awesome headline !
Hope your day tomorrow is a good one and that your night-time traveling goes smoothly.
You can tell Grier I saw a picture of his friend Joba down in Florida with the Yankees getting ready for the season...practicing just like Steel Fab...
But it is still basketball season, we'll miss you at the game tomorrow. See you when you get home.

So glad to hear you are heading back to Charlotte. Hope you get to stay here for a while. There's a grandmother and grandfather on Barwick that will be very glad to have you back close to them. Sue E.
