Ames, Jeff, and all,
Our weekend has gone much better since we got to see each of you for a brief time yesterday. I particularly liked Grace's watermelon-colored robe and Grier's Masters's cap. Grier looks wonderful and has a sparkle which I know you treasure. I don't think Chinese food ever looked as good as seeing Grier eat his chicken, brocoli, and noodles. So I pray for many more days of ballgames, dirty faces, missed windows at Wendy's, unexpected conversations with female cops, and the laughter that all of it provides. Thanks for sharing it with us. We love you as you know! Susanne
Hi, Christenbury Family! We have returned from a beautiful weekend at the beach and I just thought and thought and thought about your family beach trip coming up next month. I am so hopeful that all goes well with round #3 and Grier stays healthy and fever free so you all can get away to see and enjoy one of God's true miracles - the Carolina coast! What great therapy the ocean breezes and the gentle waves can be. We love you all and keep you covered in prayer every day and every night. Sally keeps asking me when I'm going to take "Gace Kissenberry" the window art she did at our house and I think I'll bring it down to the hospital this week - it will be a lovely addition to the decor in the tower! Hugs and kisses to the patient and ALL of his caregivers! Looking forward to good results from last weeks' tests.
Love,
Nancy

Hi Amy!
We hope Grier has been able to start round 3 and that he is in good spirits. ALSO hoping that you get enough rest while at CMC. We are thinking of you all the time and hoping that it's going well--

We read the blog often and keep all of you, especially Grier, in our thoughts and our prayers daily.

Amy,
So good to have run into you this evening. We had a great weekend at Wild Dunes with the children and close friends of ours (they have four children, so seven in all)...quite a crew!
So happy to hear about the testing and that Grier was able to start round 3. Continuing prayers for him that all goes well, without incident, and that you all can get home quickly. The children continue to pray daily for Grier and hold him close to their little hearts...every evening they say "God bless Grier Christmasberry," a little ode to Mitch there!
Please let me know what I can do to help make this week a bit easier. Mitch wants to make cookies for Grier and would like to know if Grier would want sprinkles, chocolate chip or M&M's. I'm sure he will make whatever the request might be...he would also like to deliver them...we'll have to work on that one! Let me know.
Love and Prayers to Grier, you and your family!
Dina
Have been thinking of each one of you and of my buddy, Maggie.
Hello Christenburys! So glad to hear that Grier is doing well. Hopefully the news will continue to be good and Grier will keep having fun and trying more things. We are constantly sending only the best thoughts, wishes and most importantly, prayers your way. Love to all!
My mom is a good friend of Grier's grandma, Mary. They were both in the hospital together, and my mom, Esther Reilly is now 2 1/2 years in COMPLETE remission from AML. We also have close friends who battle stage IV Neuroblastoma with their 6 year old son, John. We will lift Grier and his family up daily to our loving Lord who cares deeply for every aspect of this challenge! Go Grier Go! Love, Debi Hall and family
