TOMORROW is the last day of RT!! We are very excited--- it will not be an easy day due to the surgery for the mediport but at least we have radiation behind us for now! We met with the doctor today and she said everything looked good-- and she didn't see a need to see us again unless it was in the cafeteria or the elevator!! That was a nice thing to hear-- I wish all the doctors would say that TODAY!!
We will have to be at the hospital tomorrow morning at 6:45---- And he will have his surgery after his RT-- they will wake him up from anesthesia and then do it again around 9--- he is suppose to be the 2nd case in the OR-- We will see... we all know the clock works differently here!!
Got to go watch reality TV--- thanks for all the tips on Survivor--- I need help keeping track!!!
Until tomorrow-
Amy
PS== Grier got to see the dog that won the 2007 Westminster Dog " Best in Show"-- He said Tucker would like a friend!! I laughed-- I have been there done that!!! Do not get any ideas Jeff!!! check this link out--- www.angelonaleash.org

This is a great picture. Grier looks so happy.
Sleep well tonight.
Love,

Amy,
I love the photos...they're AWESOME!! Leave it to a boy to "ride" an IV pole. How creative! Glad to see Grier's still able to be a "kid" even under these circumstances.
Sorry I've been an "absentee friend"...I have been checking the blog, yet I haven't been taking the time to respond...AWFUL! Now I've completely guilted myself; so, you'll see me blogging a ton more.
I am thankful you're obviously making the very best of everything. You're amazing! I think of you constantly and look forward to hearing from you each day.
I am looking forward to going to the Hannah Kate show...I got a card from Karen. I see that they are now offering a lot more styles up to a size 12 for girls...thank goodness. Cute collared blouses are so very difficult to find. Please let me know if I can order anything for you...though Karen and Trisha probably have you covered.
Hopeful you enjoy another break from the PDH this weekend! The weather is back and forth here...75 one day, and 50 the next. Welcome the south!
Have a good evening. I sent you an email if you are able to open it. Adam and I watched it with amazement...you'll see! Don't forget that Survivor starts tonight.
Tons of love...
Dina & Adam
Cute Grier, cute Maggie, and cute dog! Keep the pictures coming -- everyone loves to see you all. I put a photo of Grier in a valentine that Jeanna sent out on my computer at school and showed the kids who Grier is (we sent cards off to him today). They were so excited to see his picture and one boy said, "He is really cute!" I told him I agreed!!
You, Grier, and Maggie will be in my prayers tomorrow as you go through your long day. Happy that RT will be done and on to 3F8 and home next week! Hope everything goes according to plan.
Sleep tight and no need to set the alarm -- you have a 5:33 wake-up call each morning! Did you ever find out what it is???
Love and many prayers for a smooth day,
Betty G
Have thought about you all day. The children said a special prayer for Grier at lunch today. Hope things went well and tonight maybe you all can get a little rest.
Thinking of you always,
