We are DONE with this round of 3F8! Grier did the best today-- (when I say "best"-- I am referring to the world of 3F8--- in a normal world-- it would not be good!) He had the normal amount of pain but recovered quicker than the other days-- We actually left MSKCC @ noon! He does not seem to have the headaches he has had-- so he is it up and playing a video game!
This is so different than yesterday-- he slept until 8pm and then woke up and wanted dinner!! He walked next door for a slice of pizza and came back to play in the room-- He was back to sleep by 10:30!
We still have not heard our schedule for the week-- Hopefully we will know something soon--
Grier Martin Christenbury(age 2 1/2) was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma on Tuesday, March 27, 2007- This blog is to help family and friends know how he is doing with treatments. Go Grier Go! www.caringbridge.org/visit/grierchristenbury

Wow, what great news !
I'll bet Grier is amazing everyone there.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the day together and I'm sure it will be a nice weekend with Hayes, Grace and Janet coming up to join you.
Good luck with your scheduling and travel plans...
Amy, are you planning to watch any of the NFL Playoffs on Sunday?
I think you'd love the Packers' Brett Favre. Although you may be surrounded by a lot of NY Giants fans - the Packers opponents.

Hi Amy,
Wow, great news again. So glad to hear he did so well today. In this house we are of course praying for Grier but now we are also praying for snow again that might stick! Hope it does not mess up the flights for the kids and you mom.
Have a fun weekend!
love Isabel :+}
I hope y'all have a nice weekend and that Grier feels well. We are thinking about y'all.
Not sure if you've heard, but JJ and Elizabeth's was torn down today! They are starting to build. Just a little Jameston Dr. news for ya.
Thinking about you! Hang in there.
Love,
Pete, Sally and Molly

So glad you had the best day overall...you all so deserve that. What a long week; however, it's behind you now...what a blessing!
Thinking of you non-stop with love and prayers! Hope you get the results and answers you're looking for. Enjoy the supersibs this weekend! Hope your travel plans go off without a hitch!
Love,
Dina
Hi Amy,
Just catching up on your blog today. You and Grier continue to be in our thoughts and prayers at Providence. I agree with you that we should do all we can to eradicate children's cancers by providing the best funding for research.
May God continue to grant you wisdom and strength for each new day.
Blessings,

What a tropper!! I'm glad this week has gone as well as it has. We will be anxious to hear what is next on the treatment agenda for Grier. We will praying that we will have you all back in Charlotte very soon. Nancy and Roger
Do hope M&SS got there without a problem today -- know you will enjoy the weekend. Get out and about before the snow comes up from the South -- MAYBE!! Everyone here is hoping for snow that will stick and be play-in-able! I told my school kids that if we read about snow, write about snow, and talk about snow, maybe it would snow and it did! Now we need a fun snow and with 4 days off, it would be perfect timing!
So very happy to know that Grier did so well yesterday and the whole week of 3F8 is over -- good to have that behind you! Hope you can get started on radiation soon and will not have to go back and forth from NYC to Charlotte. Get the EASY button out so that things will work out for you and you can begin practice and treatment soon!
The rain is beginning to have some snow mixed in as I write, so maybe our wish for a playable snow will come true.
Have a great weekend and remember to post some pictures of all of you!
Hugs and prayers,
Betty G
Poor Betty, this is not real snow. It definitely is not playable.
Just wanted you all to know,we are thinking of you. We hope you have some well deserved fun this weekend.
Lots of love,
The Paine's
Thinking of you and hoping you're having a great time catching up with the rest of the family in NY! Hope Grier is doing well and able to enjoy this weekend in the big city!
