We made it! .. sign from Myers Park Traditional
Grier. Maggie, and I made it home!! We got to the airport around 7:30am-- went through security and made it to our gate by 8:00-- Our flight was not until 10:05 so we just waited! We did fly "stand-by" so a big thanks goes to Nancy ( USAir friend of my mom's) for sharing a few buddy passes!!
Grier and I picked up Hayes and Grace at ETES and life has been a bit normal since then!
We are planning on having a few low key days-- since we need to return on Tuesday!
Thanks for all the cards and small gifts you sent to him-- Grace Baptist & Covenant Kids made some neat cards for him! And a preschool class from Norfolk sent a picture of their class on a tractor!!! All of the cards and postcards were fun to read!! I had a fun time with the music cards!! Everyone is so kind to think of him!

We are so happy to have you home. Hope you will get some rest and also some fun. If you want to see a girls movie and have a drink. Let me know,I am in.
I love the Go Grier Go sign,it is beautiful.
Sleep well and as always you are very much in our thoughts and prayers,
The Paine's
So glad you made it home in time for carpool -- such a treat! I love the sign -- who made it? Glad you'll have a few "rest" days before you head back north.
Kim Harden's husband is at CMC -- had scheduled back surgery today and then complications with his heart. He is in Cardiac ICU -- I left her at 6:00 when she and the kids were going in to see him. Haven't heard from her this evening. He is not out of the woods yet, so I'm praying for him and Grier tonight.
Sleep tight in your own bed tonight. Hope Grier will be in his too!!
Love and prayers,
Betty G
You're home ... yeah! Love that sign - what a nice welcome home. I was thinking about you all day and hoping that all the logistics would work out. So glad they did.
Enjoy your low key days and definitely let me know if there is anything I can do for y'all. We are wide open this weekend and would love to be of help :)
See you in the carpool line!

So very happy you're home! Hoping you are able to enjoy the finer things in life...your own kind of toilet paper, your own car and radio stations, your own pillow, etc. So much to be said for being at home...glad you are here for a little while!
Enjoy your time together. I have seen that Sunday will be 64 degrees. Hoping Grier gets out to hit some baseballs and enjoy a real Carolina winter!
As always, call if you need anything. We're out and about tons and would love to help out if needed.
Lots of love...
Dina
Love the sign...it's AWESOME!!!
