We are here-- FINALLY!!! Our flight time was changed at least 3 more times after I made the last post-- the last time they said was 5:30-- so we had to be at the hanger at 4:30-- not too much time to get ready and say good-bye to H &G-- But we made it to the hanger on time! We ended up not leaving Charlotte until 7 anyway!!! AHHH!!!! After many calls to the car service to change the time he was to pick us up--- he finally got mad!!! But he said he would wait since the car was already dead aka "out of service" for 5 hours!! When we arrived in Teeterboro--- a stretch limo was waiting-- It was something out of pimp my ride!!
It is 10:30-- and Grier is eating dinner-- and I am ready to call it a day!!!!!!!! We are back in the tiny room at the Ronald-- same one we were in before Christmas!!! I may have t0 see if we can get moved tomorrow---

Glad you, Grier and friends arrived safely -- was definitely hectic getting there with all the take-off time changes. I think we'll just have to get Grier his own jet so you can leave whenever you want!!!
I know your days will be busy and so hope easier for you and Grier than your past visits. Hope he will be jumping on beds, running for the mail, eating turkey sandwiches, and playing BUGS like he always does -- that's how we know things are going well! Hope you can get the room changed too!
I will look forward to your blogs each night and be sure to post more pics -- I loved the one of you and Grier from your last visit.
Hugs, love, and prayers to you and Grier tonight,
Betty G
Get on 'em, Amy! If anyone can get a bigger room, it WILL be you.
So glad you're at the Ronald, finally! I'm hopeful that Grier eats quicker than Mitch so you can get to bed. You've eaten with us before...you wouldn't get the final bite in him until at least 11:30pm. Go Grier Go...mom needs to get some sleep!
Here's to a late start in the morning, which you likely do not have the luxury of having, and to a great night of sleep. Back to the white noise of howling winds through buildings.
Sleep well, Christenbury's North! May our love surround you and bring you peace and sweetest dreams...
Dina
Just a quick note to let you know we are thinking of you and hope this trip goes quickly and with the least amount of pain so you can get back home. I remember reading a blog about people asking you how you do this and you said not many choices, it is your child and you just do it. I wanted to remind you how you have REALLY stepped up to the plate and are doing it beautifully!!!! So much love, grace, and with all your brain cells of what the next move is. You and your beautiful family continue to be an inspiration.
Grier is truly an amazing little boy that could teach most of us to go with the flow and keep looking forward to things as simple as that next sandwich at Lenny's.
Many prayers your way!!!
Stephanie G.
I think the idea of Grier having his own jet is great. You have been waiting on planes a little too much lately.
Glad you arrived safely. I hope you got a little rest before you had to start your busy day.
Oh I have been meaning to tell you this. The other day I was showing Mitch my camera. There was a picture of Dylan Palermo and Mitch looked at it and said" Hey that is Grier". He has curls just like Grier's before the haircut. I thought it was cute,Mitch is always thinking about Grier. As we all are.
We will be thinking about you daily and praying for a successful trip.
As always in our thoughts and prayers,
Mary Ellen
Amy,
Happy to hear that you and Grier are settled at the Ronald. Sorry your transportation gets so chaotic as if you didn't have enough to think about. Hope everything goes well and that you get your room changed. Thinking about you and praying for you every day.
Love,
Mrs. D.
