Not feeling too well---

Grier is not feeling that great-- he is having a lot of bone pain from the neupogen. He does okay after you give him something for pain but you can tell when it wears off. His counts were taken today and he is at .1 for his WBC!!! NO Immune system-- He will need a transfusion for blood and platelets on Wednesday-- that could have something to do with his energy level-- He also has that "gray chemo" look-- I know it will get better but I am ready for him to be on the top of this rollercoaster we are on!
Grace and Hayes are doing great-- both did excellent on their report cards-- I can not believe how well they are doing with all that has gone on for the past 6 months-- We are lucky to have some great teachers!!
Hopebuilders will be here before we know it-- Thanks again to all that have donated to LCH-- 100% of that money will go to the new hospital-- It really looks neat--especially at night :)
I hope Grier feels better without a hospital stay-- he was making Jeff and I nervous last night when we thought he was getting a fever-- needless to say not much sleeping was happening at our house--just a lot of temperature taking!

Jeff and Amy,
I hope Grier is feeling better and you all can get some rest. I spoke with my sister in New Jersey tonight and the kids are praying all the time for Grier. She is going to have them send him some cards. Thought it might be fun to have some prayer pals.
Glad to hear Hayes and Grace are doing so well. I am sure the teachers are great but where would they be without the great parents. You deserve alot of credit.
Be good to yourselves and remember we are always thinking and praying for you.

Still thinking of sweet Grier and all of you nonstop! Sorry about him not feeling too well. Hoping that he regains strength soon and that white counts will be on the rise! Tell Grier he must feel better by Saturday to come see Brown's mommy run (and pant) all in honor and love for him and his fight!! There will be SO many of us running for him.

Hang in there- hope tomorrow will be MUCH better. You and Jeff will feel better when he feels better. I agree with Mary Ellen -- the parents are far greater than the teachers!! Smart supersibs = good grades!!

Here's to Grier feeling better tomorrow!

Love and prayers coming your way tonight!

Amy,

So bummed to hear that Grier is not feeling so well...after all that bouncing around Friday, it's hard to imagine. Again, just goes to show you how poor he feels for him to not be jumping up and down non-stop. We'll be praying for and thinking or our sweet friend non-stop this week in hopes that his counts rise and he is back in the "swim" real soon!

Looking forward to this weekend for the Hopebuilders run/walk. Apparently cooler weather is headed our direction...hooray! I am hopeful that Grier will feel up to coming and celebrating the efforts of your family and so many others like you who have given themselves to better our community...KUDOS! We are so fortunate to have such a fabulous place for our children...we look forward to celebrating with you!

Congratulations to Grace and Hayes for excellent report cards! I'm sure their teachers are wonderful; however, parenting is key. Quite obviously you and Jeff have not faltered in your role as parents and it has come full-circle...congratulations to you both as well! You have really great children and they should be commended for their hard work and dedication in making you proud parents!

Tons of Love & Oodles of Prayers...
Dina
