We are almost done chemo #6
Grier should be finished with chemo around 6pm so our plan is to go home tonight-- He has been asking since 7am this morning ... If it( medicine) was done yet???-- we have awhile to go before I can say yes-
He is getting a blood transfusion right now-- so that will perk him up! That should end by the time he finishes chemo- It takes 4 hours so hopefully he will sleep through some of it-
That is it for now--it has been a pretty normal stay here at CMC-- we are ready to go back to our "first" home!
Helen from Child Life asked Grier what his favorite baseball team was... and we thought he was going to say the Braves since he has his jersey on but he said..."STEEL FAB"-- !!! I had to explain that was his brother's little league team!! Go STEEL FAB!
GO STEEL FAB!

I hope you get home soon and can get some rest. I talked to Susan Leary today and she said Grier looked really good. She enjoyed her visit with you both.
Hang in there and remember we are all praying for all of you.

Amy,
So good to see you and Grier today...he looks GREAT!! I sure do hope everything goes well this afternoon and you get home by dark. Grier so deserves to go home after how patient he's been with all of the pokes, prods, tubes, syringes and needles. He's AWESOME:)
As always, call me with any needs/requests...and let me know when you're interested in Smoothie King! Get some rest:)
Lots of Love & Prayers...

Amy,
So glad things are going well on this visit, and I hope you are home. We are still lifting Grier up in our daily prayers.

Hi Amy- I hope ya'll are home from the hospital and resting comfortably. You amaze me the way you spend countless hours at the hospital yet still manage to keep "normal life" going with birthdays, school, games, etc. A true Wonder Woman! You are all in our hearts and prayers. Love- Liza Sippe
After witnessing Grier swinging that baseball bat last week, "STEEL FAB" will be lucky to have him in a few years! We are hoping you guys are safe and sound at home tonight and that Grier is resting comfortably.
We will continue to keep our fingers crossed that the surgeon at Sloan Kettering reviews Grier's case quickly and can give you all some comfort in setting a timeline. Amy, thank you so much for answering all of my probing questions yesterday and for giving me a better understanding of what you guys are up against.
As always, our love and prayers are coming your way. We'll see Grace on Wednesday - hope you have a great week!
Love, The Falls
