THANKS
Saturday was great-- Thanks to everyone that supported our Hopebuilders team!!! We raised the highest amount this year!! Actually a team has never raised 10K before!!! Thanks so much for supporting us! It was fun to see who was at the 5k-- I did not know so many people were planning on running or walking!! Now Hayes has the running bug since he ran his first 5k-- he keeps talking about doing more! Maybe one day there will be a Neuroblastoma 5k to bring more awareness and research money to find a cure for this rare disease! I am going to DREAM BIG as Roger DAY would say!!
A huge thanks to Hannah, Nancy, Dina, Beth, Isabel, Virginia and crew for decorating their hair and bodies with Go Grier Go!!! I posted some of the signs they wore-- I saw the emails before the race but was very surprised by all the funny signs and blue hair!
Grier is doing OK-- we are still waiting for his ANC counts to recover-- we need him to be a 500 to be able to go to NYC for all the tests. He will have a bone scan tomorrow at 11-- under sedation of course!! That will be the last scan done here before we head North-

The pictures are great. I saw Grace on T.V. last night. I am sorry we were not able to be there but believe me we thought of you.
We will pray especially hard for Grier tomorrow. I am sure all will go well and his #'s will be good for N.Y.C.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Amy,
What a beautiful day! I so enjoyed "Running my booty off for Grier!" There's nothing I wouldn't do for him. When there's a run for a cure for neuroblastoma, you can bet we'll all be there to raise money and support...with blue hair, painted legs and signs on our backsides:)
Praying that Grier's scan goes well and that his counts are on the rise so you can get to NYC on time. We're positive that all will go well and that you'll be on your way in no time, able to put this experience behind you all and move on with a happy & full life with no more scans, pokes, prods, transfusions, etc. That will be a GREAT DAY and we'll all be delighted to share that moment with you!
Positive Prayers & Lots of Love...
Dina

It was a gorgeous day and Grier has such wonderful people on his team! I loved my time w/Grace and Sally as we made it through each mile. They taught me the chant, "g, double oo, d, j-o-b, good job! good job!" and I've been chanting it for Grier and his entire team ever since! Much love!
Go Grier Go!!
