We are going to leave Sunday on a Corporate Angel flight- I hesitate to write any of this since plans change quickly around here-- But our plan is to be in NYC until the 30th or 31st unless they tell us otherwise-- We had our appt. moved up a week but that was with everyone but the Surgeon. So, we will stay until the 30th to talk to him- Since that is who we have been waiting to consult with all along-
Right now, we will have an extremely busy week of testing... appointments... etc. And then on Saturday my mother, Grace, and Hayes will join us for a few days since school is out!!
Thanks to Jim Reid I will be able to read email on my laptop AND reply!!! Yeah!!
I am trying to get ready but right now I am playing catch up for the last 7 days !! Home Health will come tomorrow and check counts-- he may need a transfusion before we go--We are still on IV meds every 8 hours-- so glad that will be done on Saturday :) I wish I could show you the suggested list to pack-- it reminds me of going to summer camp-- It has some strange items on the list! Anne is probably laughing because I never really liked summer camp! The pictures look great and I am sure it will be fine after we finally get there!

So happy your plans are made. I will pray they do not change.
Summer camp,Sarah Paine never lasted but Elizabeth ,she would have gone all summer. I am sure that does not surprise you.
We will miss you Sunday night, but know we will all be praying for you.
As always you are in our hearts.
Love,
The Paine's
Amy,
So glad everything seems to be falling into place! Praying everything goes well with the tests, appointments and doctor meetings. Please call if you have any items that we may have and can send with you.
Lots of Love & Tons of Prayers...
Dina
Glad things are finally moving...I know you are action oriented, and although it must be exhausting to prepare, you are the best mommy I know who can get it all together! (And that's just from reading your blog!)
We are looking forward to spending time with all those who love and support you on Sunday afternoon! I hope you, Jeff and Grier will be able to feel "hugged" all those miles away.
Safe travels and thank you for keeping us all up to date.
Tracy
If anyone can handle a whirlwind, it is you, Amy! How fantastic that Jeff, Hayes and Grace can join you and Grier for a bit in The Apple. Give Grier a big hug for me!! Much love to all,
Susan L.
hey amy- i know you have a gazillion and one things going on but it just occurred to me that if, while in NYC, you have the time and Grier is feeling up to it that the folks at Little Airplane would be glad to have you over for a Wonder Pets tour. Josh was serious when he extended that offer. Just email me and let me know - even when you're up there-- and I can try to get in touch w/ him about that. And if this trip is not the time, file the idea away for another NYC time. I would love to help make that happen. You guys are always on my mind. Am wishing you all the best.
Love, Alex
O Happy Day! NYC, here come the Christenburys! So glad that plans are made even if they have to be changed -- just having them makes everyone feel good! I would love to bring Grace and Hayes home from school while you're gone -- that could save someone a trip through carpool! I leave by 4:00 so they would be home by 4:15 -- let me know if I can help with that.
We'll miss you on Sunday but will rejoice that you are on your way to NYC and MSK. That Corporate Angel flight will be flying on hundreds of prayers on Sunday -- what a cool thing for Corporate America to do.
Wishes for safe travel, good tests, and a fun weekend with the family!
