We had a busy weekend -- lots of time in the stoller for Grier!! I heard there were a lot of " Christenbury sightings!" I will admit we were outside as much as possible!! I was walking between two fields most of the weekend with an occasional request to see the ducks!
Grier is sleeping much better at home and has some of his appetite back- I think it is a little harder to be at home-- I have not figured out a new routine yet-- and I love a routine that works! Hayes and Grace are hanging in there-- they have been busy with sports and school-- Grace has a choir musical on Wednesday--
We went to the doctor this morning and they did blood work etc. The good news is his counts are up-- almost 7000 for wbc
and his ANC counts are around 3300!! He also did not need to have any transfusions-- We will not go back to the Dr. until the 30th and they will check to make sure we are OK to start chemo that day-
It looks like Monday, April 30th we will be back at CMC to begin round two-- that is at least 10 nights of good sleep before then!!
Thanks for all the prayers-- it is nice to see those wrist bands on everyone!! Go Grier Go!

that sounds so fantastic! Yay for high counts and sleeping during the nights! I'm sure it won't be too long before you've got a great schedule worked out!
Give Grier, Grace and Hayes a hug and a kiss for me! I'm coming home soon, so I hope to see you then!
Love and God Bless,
Julie
Hi Amy,
My thoughts are with Grier and you all - I'm glad to read that the counts are high!
Thinking about you in NY,
Will
I'm so thankful you guys got to come home. How nice it must be to be together as a family! I enjoyed my talk with Jeff last weekend. He sure is a great man! All the Andersons are wearing their GO GRIER GO bracelets (except Ben - who has it on his webkinz)
Love to all and here's to a sleep!

Amy and Jeff,
We are thrilled that you are at home and that Grier is eating, sleeping, getting outside in the fresh air, and that his counts are high!!! HOORAY!!
We love you and continue to pray for everyone.
Go Grier Go!!
Love,
Troy, Ben, Sara Kathryn and Woods
Hi Christenburys! I have tried to write you and somehow keep messing it up. Hopefully it will go through this time! I am not great at computers...I am so thrilled to hear you all are home! I am sure Grier is happy to be in his own bed. I am also so happy to hear his numbers are high! You all are just so strong and I am so proud of you and Jeff for holding it together for your three kids and for just being so incredible. I am so proud of Grier. What a trooper! Our family prays for you every day and I have on my Go Grier Go bracelet! Henry and William and I talk about it a lot. I pray that he keeps getting stronger and starts eating and drinking! Love, Katherine
I heard Grier was in carpool today via the Carpool Queen! Whoopee! So happy and thankful that his counts are zooming up again and that you had a good weekend. Your efforts to get Grier to baseball and soccer games were probably heroic, but I know everyone was so glad to see him out and about! What a perfect weekend to be outside. Love and prayers are still coming to you down the greenway, but thankfully in the opposite direction -- to your home!
Love to you all,
Betty G
HEllo Jeff and Amy,
Prayers coming your way from the Parsons! We continue to pray for you throughout each day. You guys are on many prayer lists throughout Mooresville. I think about you when I am making my rounds each morning and afternoon and all of my love is sent your way.
Love,
Kelly
Hi Amy,
What a great update, so glad to hear you can have a full week at home. Continued prayers come from our family to yours...

Amy & Jeff,
So glad to hear that you guys are home and had a nice weekend. I know it must be so nice to sleep in your own beds! We are so happy to read that Grier's counts were up so much and that he is feeling like eating and getting outside!! Thanks for sharing all your experiences with us, you are all so inspiring. We read every day so we can check on Grier. Praying for you every day- Jeff, Jennifer, Nolan & Cole
Amy, Jeff and Family,
We just returned from a family trip and was so glad to read that you all are home and that Grier's counts are going up! YEA!!!! I hope that you are getting back into "the routine" as best you can and getting some sleep!!
We hope to see you all soon!
Love,
Posey and Scott
Amy,
Glad things went well yesterday!
I enjoyed talking with you while you got your free time over the weekend...nothing like a bit of retail therapy. We need to go to CPK for a salad and a bit more "therapy" before the 30th...let me know what works for you.
GO GRIER GO...I am so proud of Grier and how well he's doing. I hope the carnation instant breakfast helps...you'll want to push it the next several days to pack on as much weight as possible.
Let me know if you need any help. Remember, I'm always out and about...call me if you need anything...I'm so close!
Be well...love and prayers...
Dina
Amy and Jeff and family~
So happy to hear things are going well. I know it feels nice to be home and back in 'normal chaos'! You are still constantly on our minds, in our hearts, and with us in prayer!
I am at the Teeter usually every other day...so please call if you need an urgent pick up or whatever!
Love and more love,
Hannah, Charles, Virginia, Charles, and Brown
Grier has been placed on the prayer list of Providence Baptist Church - Cornerstone Couples Class. These are dynamic prayer warriors! We knew Jeff in the youth dept (just a few years ago!). Grier's Mimi & G-Dad are fine people, too. Keep the white count high!

Dear Amy,
I hope it was as great to be back on Covenant soil last night for the Choir Musical as it was to see you there! We have so missed the entire Christenbury family on Wednesday nights - it just hasn't been the same! I'm so sorry for Grier's minor setback yesterday and the long day it made for you, but we are all pulling for him to stay healthy and to put some meat on those bones before Monday. As always, you ALL are in our hearts and on our minds. Love to you all,
Nancy
I am so happy to see that you guys are home and enjoying the weekend weather. We got our bracelets and my 2 1/2 year Grace is screaming Go Grier Go on our walks now. Happy to hear Anne will be there next week w/you all, what a wonderful support she is!!!!! We pray and think of you all daily.
Kevin, Netha, Grace Rose and George Patrick
GO GRIER GO....Its been a while, since we have seen or talked to each other, sorry about that...
I am excited to hear that Grier is feeling a little better and I know you are glad to be home for a little while.
Mom [Donna Mangle] and I [Kimberlee Garrison] have been thinking about all of you and praying for all of you.
How do we get our Go Grier Go bracelets?
We would like to offer our time when the dog needs walking, to run errands for you, to take Hayes and Grace out to dinner and a movie or whatever you need & I would like to help create a lasting family memory for you in a ceramic piece for the family.
Keep the faith...
Love,
Donna & Kimberlee
