Grier’s counts stayed the same today—I am just glad they did not go down- He ate 3 bites of a KK doughnut— still not drinking-
That is it for today— I am going to bed—we have a new sign on the door—telling the NA’s not to do vitals until 7am—we need some sleep in 7914—

Goodnight you all, and good for you for demanding the sleep you need. It will do you all the world of good. God Bless.
Amy,
You and I have the same idea...I'm exhausted and off to bed early as well...I almost missed tonight's update.
I do have to tell you that I took a picture with my cell phone of my blue validation paper for parking...thought that might please you...thanks for the savings!
I so enjoyed visiting with you today...I love your smile and have missed you terribly. Grier looks so angelic sleeping in your lap...not sure Brittany could pull off the "angelic" thing.
I saw Jeff, Hayes and Grace this afternoon at Freedom...Jeff said he enjoys Tuesday afternoons with the children! Hayes and Grace were so polite and exude love when spoken to. I get the feeling they feel the community when they notice "Go Grier Go" wristbands. Grace touched mine ever so lightly when I touched her head to say "hello"...precious!
I meant every word of my intentions to help in any way...Cottonelle, real Kleenex, you name it! My prayers and thoughts are all for Grier and I want to pass on my love for you and your sweet family!
Love and Prayers and Hugs Too...
Sweetest Dreams to All!
Dina
Get some rest!! I wanted to let you know that Kailyn was looking at her bracelet tonight and I asked her what it means. She said, "Go Grier Go!" So I asked her why she is supposed to wear it and she said, "to remember to pray for Grier." She then went into a very long and detailed (and very sweet) prayer for Grier. I got chill bumps! So know that Covenant's little prayer warriors are cheering you on! Ms. Pat has taught them well! I wanted you to know that we are ALL praying for you at the Shroyer house!!
Love,
Lesley
Amy and Jeff,
I just want you guys to know that Grier has touched the lives of people all over the country. I worked with Jeff and Joe in Charlotte for a couple of years and I now live in Colorado. I have told many about Grier and alot of people wanted to know how to get the Go Grier Go braclets.
I just want you to know that everyone is praying for him and that I think about him everyday, and read what you have to say everyday.
Toni
Hi Grier, Amy, Jeff, Hayes and Grace,
"Go Grier Go" bracelets are seen all over Dilworth Little League. Mitch came by to get one and wore it on the field during the Cox-Schepp game, I think that is some powerful karma. I've written "Go Grier Go' inside my Red Sox cap - you know all Red Sox fans believe in miracles.
Stay strong Grier, so many people are pulling for you.
Love Michele Todd
Amy and Jeff,
Thinking of you constantly and really wanted to bring you lunch yesterday, but Brown had croup Mon. night...so I will stay away for now. Sending love and hoping sleep will get better for all of you. Our prayer group met Monday night...and Grier was #1 on our list.
Love, Hannah,Charles, Virginia, Charles and Brown
I hope that you all had a better night last night, and that the sign worked! All of the Bings are thinking about you, and sending you lots of good wishes. We know that you are exhausted, and pray for God to give you strength to continue taking such wonderful care of Grier, and for him to feel better and start eating very soon. We love you!
Rebekah
I hope that you all had a good night sleep (as best you can on that busy floor!) and that you both woke up feeling a little rejuvenated. Fingers crossed that Grier will have a little more appetite today.
As always you all are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.
Posey
Go Grier Go! We are wearing our bracelets and praying for you to feel all better.
Love your friend,
Ansley Schumacher
Dear Amy, good for you hanging up that sign! I can't tell you how many times I stood or sat outside Drew's door and kept everyone away while he took a nap. Hospitals are not a good place for rest!
We are all thinking about you and praying for you constantly. Drew now has a 'Go Grier Go' bracelet and sends you his love from Mercy and is praying for Moussa's buddy to get better soon.
We love you all so much and hope you get to go home soon.
Hugs and kisses,
Nibal, Drew, Elias, Moussa and Leila
Amy,
Sorry I missed you today, I hope Grier is feeling better and starting to eat soon. He is on so many people's minds at church and at school and at our home. And God knows every hair on OR off his precious head.
Hugs,
Stacy Sparks
Amy&Jeff,
Hope today was a better day for Grier! We have not called or come by because we don't want to interrupt any sleep you may be getting! Please know this doesn't mean we are not thinking about you every minute of every day. We only wish there was more we could do to help and to ease Grier's pain! We couldn't love Hayes, Grace and Grier more if they were our own! We are here for all of you day or night all you have to do is call! We love you! Hang in there! GO GRIER GO!
Love,
Julie,Daryl,Walker& Mary Claire
Hope all in Room 7914 got good sleep last night! Hope Grier had a better day today! Hope the mouth sores are going away! Hope half of a KK was eaten today! Hope Grier smiled at you today! Hope you know what a great mom and dad you two are! Hope you know what great kids you have! Hope you know how much your family is loved by friends, church, schools and athletic teams. Hope you know I'm here for you no matter what you might need! Know you can't know how many people are praying for Grier because it's too many to count!
Love you all,
Betty G
You said you were watching American Idol each week -- what about that Sanjaya finally getting the boot? I thought of you as we just watched tonight's show. I also wanted to let you know that my Mother specifically called tonight to say that the dear folks at First Baptist Church in Tifton, Georgia, added Grier to their prayer list at Wednesday night supper tonight (so don't be surprised if you get cards from First Baptist in Tifton). I hope Grier had a good day today and that you all get some sleep tonight! You are in our thoughts and prayers. Laura Beyer
Hey Amy...It's Dina!
Thinking about you and hoping you've gone off to bed early again this evening. I'm going to bed myself. As I mentioned earlier today, I am around everywhere...tomorrow I'm off to CCDS in the am, on to Chlt Jr Gym to p/u at 10:30am, then on to Pineville to register our soccer team for a tournament this weekend. As well, Paul and I promised Mitch a pancake lunch tomorrow. So, having said all of this, certainly let me know if take-out lunch from anywhere close to or between these destinations sounds good and I'll be happy to deliver...NO CHARGE!
Hope Grier is doing better today both with eating and drinking. So glad to hear about his counts...they're certainly headed in the right direction!
Thinking and praying for you, Grier and your Mom that you all get some peaceful rest with minimal nighttime disruption. Look forward to seeing you again very soon!
Love and Prayers...
Dina
Good Morning, praying for some sleep filled nights,it so makes a difference. What a wide circle of people you have touched. Go Grier Go is everywhere! A good friend of mine who knows your battle went to the beach with some friends over the weekend and someone in that circle mentioned your family, it brought chills to my friend, that got together and prayed for you. It brings tears to my eyes thinking about the strength your family must pull every moment of every day. I wish for a day I could jump in and take over some of the burden. Stay strong and know there are so many people praying and thinking of you. I am here for you when you need me. Victoria
