Today started early this morning around 3:30am with a question from Grier…. He said- “Mom..Mom” what is that noise? I said “that’s Maggie (Janet to most of you)” and then he said what is Maggie doing? I said, “ snoring!” He went back to sleep after that—☺
About an hour later the continuous diaper changing started—it was non-stop all day with an occasional bed linen change as well-- He also had some nausea but both of these are side effects of the chemo.
He had a few visitors but was not talkative at all today- except when Susan (recovery room nurse) and Mrs. Harden were here—I heard he played with Lightning McQueen again. I went downstairs for lunch and missed him in a good mood!
Hayes and Grace were busy with Ross and Bill- Tomorrow they are looking forward to the Children’s Easter service at Covenant- I hope the weather is warm enough for Pat’s butterfly release!!
We will finish the chemo on Saturday morning at 10:30.
That is all I have for today. I am really tired and need to go to sleep. Grier is sleeping so peacefully right now—I hope no one comes in to check anything right now—He is really tired of being poked!
So… Go Grier Go… Expect Miracles… Miracles Can Happen!

The Ignasher family joins with the Covenant army praying for Grier and your whole family. I had to smile (through tears) as I read about Nibal bringing "Jesus" to your feet. What a beautiful picture -- a poignant reminder that we're all in this together! And I'm so glad your doctor also recognizes he is not in it alone either. We know from personal experience, that Jesus doll is very powerful! Go, Grier, go!

We arrived back from a trip to discovery the news about Grier. We are so sorry to hear that this beautiful little boy is so sick. Please let us know how we can help you.
Our prayers are with you.
Gale and Anita Pendergraph
I wanted to let you know that your family and friends are in our constant thoughts and prayers.
I hope for Grier to have much comfort and find rest over these difficult days.
We pray for the right words to come to you as you have to explain and answer questions to Hayes and Grace. How difficult to find the right words when it is so hard for us to understand ourselves.
We will continue to keep each of you in our prayers.
Hi Amy,
So so sorry to hear about little Grier's illness. Drew and I send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family as you take on this incredible challenge.
God bless,
Sally and Drew (and Everett) Harriss
Amy and Jeff,
Thinking of you all on this beautiful Easter weekend! It was quite emotional this am at Covenant without you and Grier there....but everyone was so thrilled to see Jeff, Hayes and Grace. Pat did a wonderful job (and walked in with a live baby lamb into the Sanctuary...the kids were shocked!!...and we all prayed the sweet lamb wouldn't get 'nervous' all over her!) emphasizing God's love and how Jesus is the Good Shepard watching over all of us, especially the sick. It was beautiful...our hearts were all with Grier. I hope his nausea and other problems get better tomorrow. Brown continues to pray for "Geer", as the rest of us.
Embracing you with hugs of love and sleep and the hope that Easter brings.
Love you~
Hannah, Charles, Virginia, Charles and Brown
Words can not express the feelings that we have for Grier and all of you. We know that God's presence is sustaining you, and we pray for His healing power.
Your personal updates mean so much to us.
May God bless you.
With our love,
Mitzi and Chris
Dear Christenburys,
We are thinking of you, this Easter weekend, as we have every day since we heard about Grier. We hope that Grier will get to experience some of the joy of Easter tomorrow with his brother and sister. Go Grier Go!
Love,
The Bings
