I am going to to do some quick updates today to help ease my reply to emails-- For some reason :) I can not figure out how to reply to emails away from home- I can post to the blog but all emails stay in my outbox!!! I may have to get help from the apple store before we leave!!
Here is what we know right now--- we do have a reservation at the NYC Ronald McDonald House-- Since we do not know how long we will be staying we will be in close contact with the social worker from MSKCC to help adjust those dates as we need to-
We are still waiting on flight information from Corporate Angel-- Grier can not fly commercial right now because of his low counts. We hope to hear something soon so we can make better plans.
Grier is still sleeping this am-- I hope to leave CMC today but not mentioning it to him--- We will go home on the same antibiotic as we did a month ago-- and also continue the meds to increase his white blood count-

Glad the MSKCC arrangements are going well. So happy to hear you have a place to sleep. Hopeful you get to go home today and very thankful that Grier is getting some rest!

I have just spent some time reading all about "The Ronald" in NYC and what a blessing it will be to stay there. Although it is big - 11 stories...WOW! - the website is wonderful and interactive and gives those of us at home a sense of where you guys will be while you are away. I'm so happy all of your plans are finally coming together. We will miss you three so much this Sunday at the celebration in honor of Grier, but in a way, it will be very comforting to have an entire community coming together to lift you up - all at one time! I'm overcome with emotion just thinking about it!
So glad Grier is home for a few days before you guys take off. Thinking of you and sending love your way.

I have just spent some time on the Ronald McDonald House website. What a wonderful wonderful place. I am so happy that you already have a place there. What a blessing a home like that for families to go to. It makes me want to go work there! I know you will meet so many special people there. Thanks for putting that link on there for all of us. We know you are in good hands, and it helps to give us a sense of where you are going to be. So glad you are home now and will be able to spend some time all together before you go.
