Grier is hanging in there-- you can always tell he does feel that great when he does not ask to go home all the time-- :)
Tomorrow should give us lots of info about MSKCC-- We know right now that we have a tenative date of OCT. 30th-- to meet with the surgeon, neuroblastoma team, and patient registration-- That is trying to get pushed earlier so will know tomorrow- They also told me another list of things they needed and I was trying to pull that together from the tower-- almost got everything -- had the immunization record faxed to the tower!!! And made it to the birth certificate office at 4:25-- they close at 4:30--- but I have a birth certificate!!! Now, I just need to put my hands on his social security card!!!
On the way home from getting the birth certificate, Grace and I went to the new Target!!! Lots of cars there and we decided to see if it was open-- Well, it is nice- glad I went before the grand opening because we has the isles to ourselves!!
Hopebuilders 5K is Saturday-- If you registered.. don't forget your T-shirt at Run for your Life--
Thanks again for the meals this week as well as all the help with carpooling---

Just when you thought you could not get anymore of a "run around", you get to go to the Department of Public Records! Yippee. And I bet they were all smiles when you walked in at closing time. IF...and let us all pray it remains an "if" you have to go out to the Social Security Department, we will devise a plan to keep you from there. That place makes this weeks' nursing station look like a picnic!
Gosh, we sure hope Grier is feeling better and that he will be able to stroll with all of us Saturday morning! We are delighted to hear the ball is rolling up in The Big Apple and we will keep our fingers crossed hard that the time frame moves up. Of course, could they maybe just come here so y'all don't miss the big party?
We love you guys and are faithfully praying for precious Grier to feel better and kick that infection. GO, GRIER, GO!
Hugs from 5 of your faithful prayer warriors,
The Falls
Oh yeah, and one more thing....TARGET?!? Are you kidding me?
Glad to hear you are in touch with MSKCC. We will pray for an earlier date and also a good nights rest for you all.
Love and prayers to you.

Amy,
Wow, what a week! You're the best and I don't put it past you to have the SS card checked off the list by 8:10am if the office opens at 8:00am.
So glad to hear about SK and the progress that's taken place. Hopeful that the meeting on the 30th will be moved back to a sooner date!
Praying for the medicines to start kicking in today so you'll see the "true" Grier emerge once more. We're hopeful that Grier will be able to join us tomorrow morning! Looking forward to seeing you and all of your many friends supporting such a fantastic cause!
Thinking of you today as you move ahead with the preparations for SK and also for Grier to get over the latest infection!
Always here for you with love and prayers...
Dina
I forgot as well...I'm guessing that I'll see an amazing number of friends at Target this morning. Thanks for the pre-opening update!
Dina
Thanks for the updates. We are still holding you all in our prayers.

I am so glad to hear that y’all have a date for MSKCC!! I know you are anxious to get there and hope you are able to get the date moved up. Even if you have to wait until the 30th I am thrilled that you are in and get to meet with the amazing surgeon and neuroblastoma team!!
We will miss being at the 5k tomorrow but will be cheering everyone on in spirit!
All the McCormicks hope and pray Grier will feel better soon. Go Grier Go!!!
Love,
Troy
