Grier's fever went away so they think it was a virus-- He did not have to have the CT scan but when we went to clinic on Friday he did have to have a few x-rays-- Everything looked fine. So we were able to stop the IV antibiotic.
The plan is to go to the Tower tonight and start hydration so we can start chemo early Monday morning. Hopefully, we can finish Wednesday and go home. Thursday will be a clinic day and the last part of chemo in the infusion room-- As we all know.. thing can change-- so hopefully we can keep to this schedule. We have had a lot of delays lately and it is not helping our Holiday plans.

Amy,
Suffice to say that you all have the "never ending change of plans." However, I have a good feeling that everything will go smoothly from this point on! Don't ask why...I just do.
I am praying for all to go well this evening, chemo starting on time and a timely exit on Wednesday.
So hopeful that you all had a fine Thanksgiving at home and were able to enjoy being home surrounded by friends and family. I am hopeful that Grier's spirits are high going into this Christmas season!
Thinking of you all and looking forward to a good update re: Grier's health and treatment!
Love to you all...and plenty of prayers!
Dina
Glad to hear that the fever is gone! I'll be praying that all goes well beginning with check-in tonight, chemo starting tomorrow, and home on Wednesday. Things can always start going according to schedule right now, can't they???
Hope your Thanksgiving was a happy one and that Hayes and Grace are ready to get back to school. Exactly 4 weeks and we will be out for Christmas -- how time flies!
Wishes for smooth sailing at LCH, prayers, and love from me to all of you!
