Hayes, Grace, and Maggie left early this morning-- and Grier was pretty quiet afterwards-- He told us that Grace was pretty excited about going home-- we asked him if he was and he said yes-- Jeff and I were trying to perk him up so we asked him if he wanted to walk to the zoo-- He liked that idea so we headed off to the central park zoo-- He did not want to get out of the stroller but he enjoyed watching the sea lions eat their breakfast- We went back to the Ronald and he had a package to open! He really like his coffee cup..and everything else in the box!. Thanks Millie! And all the cars things from Kailyn-- He seemed to be in a better mood after the turkey sandwich from......???? (guess)-- He wanted to walk to the grocery store -- so we headed out again! He liked shopping the isles-- and bought some goldfish and apple juice!
He feels a lot better after the miralax worked this afternoon!!! It is a good thing because we were going to get him a gingerbread latte from Starbucks next!-- So, we are excited to share that news at our post-op appt. tomorrow @ 2:30 and we can stop worrying about it-- no blockage!
We ended the day with a wonderful Italian dinner delivered by Charlie--Jeff could not remember the name of the restaurant he went to but it was great-- It was a great surprise and we had a relaxing dinner since Grier had fallen asleep!
We are very blessed to have the support we have during this time in our lives-- Thanks to everyone for everything!

I am happy to hear today was so nice. You deserve a day like that. Grier and I will have to share a turkey sandwich when you get back to Charlotte. When I was pregnant with my children it was the only thing I could eat. All these years later it is still my favorite.
Tomorrow at 2:30 we will all say an extra little prayer. Know you will be in our hearts and prayers as always.
Love,
The Paine's
Thank you God. What wonderful news, it made my day to share such a joyful time with your family after all these months. Thanks for sharing, I will sleep with a smile in my heart. Will look forward to hearing GOOD news tomorrow. Sleep well, Victoria
My wishes, heart, and prayers will be with you tomorrow -- nothing but good news we all pray! Excellent post-op report = COMING HOME!!
So glad you, Grier, and Jeff had a relaxing and fun day -- sea lions are always fun to watch! Sounds like the turkey sandwiches continue to hit the spot for Grier -- hope McAllister's turkey sandwich will be as good!
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow afternoon and anxiously waiting to hear of Grier's report. Dr. LaQ will be amazed to see Grier tomorrow looking so well!
Sleep tight tonight! Love and prayers to you three,
Betty G
Oh Amy!
I am so happy to hear that the Miralax indeed had the miraculous effect...hooray! No doubt that will lend for a great report tomorrow. Not sure I've heard of the Gingerbread latte, or whatever that was. I may need to tuck that in the back of my mind for future reference!
I saw Hayes playing basketball this afternoon at Covenant...he was having a blast with friends! I'm glad he and Grace had an opportunity to spend a bit of alone time with you and Jeff this weekend! I'm sure they loved and needed it very much. Boys need their dads and girls need their moms:)
We will be thinking of Grier at 2:30pm tomorrow praying that a good report will be shared and that you will have clearance to make the trek back home...you may need to make a trip to UPS first to send everything home!
Thank you for sharing the new pictures with us! Grier looks awesome...precious in those "footie" jammies, as we call them! I am always excited when new pictures post.
Praying for restful sleep and sweet dreams for you all!
Love and Prayers...
Dina

Is this the same Lenny's as you have been enjoying. Try their chicken salad with fresh chicken breast.
And don't know if Grier can tolerate any food coloring, but my sister used to make me "super milk" by adding green food coloring to it. Then we did the same to our boys with grits, blue grits to a child seemed magical.
Take care and thanks for all the news.
Amy,
Anxiously awaiting the outcome of today's clinic visit...hopeful that all went well and that you are busy packing! Just wanted you to know we're thinking of Grier and looking forward to welcoming you back to Charlotte:)
Prayers for continued healing and progress for Grier...that he will soon be playing baseball in the front yard!
Love & Prayers...
Dina
