Grier has done well at home the last few days with an occasional fever at night-- last night it did not get above 100.4 so I am hoping that is a good thing-- we will find out later today if we need to go for the CT scan in the morning!
I have thought about how I should write this blog a lot -- and I do not know how I could ever name everyone (doctors, nurses, family, old and new friends, and strangers that read this blog!) that has helped us over the last 9 months-- We are very thankful for each of you that has given us encouragement, hope, and help--- Also, thanks to all those that have given to Go Grier Go Fund-- I hope we beat this someday and we can help others with this horrible, never-ending disease-- We are very Thankful for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE for becoming part of Grier's team-- Happy Thanksgiving-- and Go Grier GO!

Happy Thanksgiving Amy, Jeff, Hayes, Grace and Grier! We should all be thanking you too, because I think your family has brought lots of inspiration, hope, and love to all of our lives too since March! At the strangest moments, usually when I want to just scream at the boys, one of them always seems to say "Go Grier Go." You have brought alot of perspective to my life about what is important-so I want to thank you too. We hope Grier enjoys his turkey (and cheese) today. We will see you again soon.

Happy Thnaksgiving to you. Trish et al said it so well. You and your family are truly an inspiration to all of us. You will be in our Thanksgiving prayers today as you are every day. We pray that little Grier will soon beat this dreaded disease as will the children of other families that I recent met at the Children's Hospital. Much love, Nancy and Roger.
Happy Thanksgiving Christenbury Family!
We do indeed have so much to be thankful for! Thank you, Amy, for sharing your day-to-day and experience with so many of us who love and adore sweet Grier and your family. I am thankful for good doctors, nurses, healthcare associates, etc. Mostly I'm thankful that you have come into my life and given me perspective beyond measure! Grier's love for life is amazing and your dedication for everyone and everything concerning your children is awe-inspiring.
I have gained a new perspective on life this holiday and am enjoying the family for who they are and what they have to offer. Love is indeed a gift beyond measure able to be appreciated by many.
Mitch made a Thanksgiving placemat at school and insisted on bringing it with us. As we wait for dinner to begin, I look at his caption with love..."I am thankful for my friend Grier!"
With love to you and your family this Thanksgiving holiday...

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...this year we all have much to be thankful for, and being together with our children and our parents is the biggest blessing of all.Grier's battle makes it all so much clearer doesn't it? I hope you all had a restful holiday and enjoyed your time at home.

Tom and John Shelton (Grace's 8 and under teammates at oldeProvidence) really like that their Go Grier Go bracelets are our Lansdowne school colors. We said good blessings yesterday in Montreat thanking God for all of our friends, especially those in need. Tom, John, and Yelena put their hands together several times a week but I think I'll advise them to stop calling Grier "baby Grier" and now try out "Big guy Grier" as he looks so grown up this last 2 months. We're all pulling for you all. Anne Walker, Tim Shelton and Tom, John, and Yelena. Happy Thanksgiving
So glad you had a good Turkey Day yesterday and I trust Grier got his fill of turkey and probably is still getting his fill today!
It is my priviledge to be on Grier's team -- you have been and will continue to be an inspiration to me about loving, learning, and using what you learn to fight for your own child's and all other children's healthy well-being.
Hoping that you were not on your way to CMS when you passed me this morning and that you enjoyed a cold, yet beautiful day at home.
Sending you blessings, love, & prayers this afternoon,
Betty G
I meant CMC -- I know you weren't on your way to CMS!!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We just got back from the mountains, where we had no internet. I did not like not being in touch with you.
Glad to hear Grier is doing well at home. We thought about you allot yesterday and how much we admire all your faith and courage. We will be with you every step of the way.
As always in our hearts and prayers,

Dear Amy and Jeff,
I just wanted you to know that you were prayed for tonight in Clemson, SC! I am checking on Grier daily or more. As the mother of 3 myself, I can only imagine what you are experiencing. Your strength is uplifting and contagious! Hang in there and know that you are being lifted up continually. Go Grier Go!
In His Love--Ann Summers Sudduth
Hi Amy,
We hope that Grier is doing okay and fever free right now. I also hope that being able to string a few days together at home was uplifting for everyone. Love to you all and prayers for as smooth a time as possible this week at CMC.
love the Baders
